Kathy Burns
Burns Strategic Consulting Inc.

Kathy is President of Burns Strategic Consulting Inc. which provides growth solutions to entrepreneurs. She offers strategic marketing consulting and business coaching to small and medium sized enterprises in the technology, education, professional services and hospitality industries.

Kathy's consulting expertise stems from her passion for entrepreneurship and knowledge of strategy and marketing. Her marketing background includes: the development of brand management strategies; extensive market research including focus groups, stakeholder interviews and primary and secondary research; and the creation of marketing/communication plans. Her strategic planning skills have been honed through her consulting practice and management experience as well as her directorships on national, regional, municipal and community boards. Kathy’s entrepreneurial background includes founding, operating and selling a successful 100 –seat restaurant and developing two other start-up companies.

Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and is an MBA graduate from the Richard Ivey School of Business. She is currently working toward her designation as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with The Coaches Training Institute. Kathy is a member of three organizations – The Canadian Association of Management Consultants, TechAlliance and The London Chamber of Commerce and is also serving as a Board Trustee for the Western Ontario Therapeutic Community Hostel (WOTCH).
